Money is too smart for this crap. He knows that should he beat Guerrero that the winner of the fantastic fight between Canelo and Trout will be a top 2,maybe even best PPV of all-time. Facing an undefeated Mexiacn warrior like Canelo would sell huge. If Trout wins,then he has a new American star that is undefeated and beat Cotto and Canelo. Trash-talk sells fights but he needs to worry about Guerrero right now who can flat out scrap.

I love how Canelo is a joke and paper champion but you attach his name to Floyd and he is an undefeated Mexican warrior.

Berto lost two mostly one-sided fights against two guys he was supposed to beat, both who were new to the weight. Berto, and the way he was protected for so long, is everything wrong with boxing.

Berto doesn't get credit for not being good enough to beat guys he was supposed to. I'm sure not going to call him good for boxing because he wasn't good enough to beat two guys he was supposed to.

the point is he got exsposed, and well before he earned $5 mil for a floyd fight and got the bump that comes with it. which I think is a good thing. im not saying he was good or you have to call him that.

But IMO, the more important story and great thing that came out of it is Berto was exposed twice, the fans got 2 great fights regardless of where berto was ranked, and the guys who beat him were rewarded for what really were impressive performances.

I think when petersen smacks lucas around we wil be getting the same good results.

Floyd doesn't have to give him permission to get his own show because he already did that. Floyd had absolutely nothing to do with Canelo being famous. Mayweather seems to think the whole world revolves around him. Canelo did not want to be part of Floyd's show and have Floyd get 100% of the credit if the fight is a big seller unless there was something in it for him.Floyd is never going to fight him so he gets mad that Canelo is trying to get a fight with him. I was just responding to the post saying Berto is good for the sport. No he's not, he's one of the things most wrong about the sport. Whatever resulted from him losing, he doesn't deserve credit for it.

I don't have the slightest problem with Guerrero getting a Mayweather shot, and wasn't responding to a post that was even about Guerrero fighting Mayweather. I was responding to a post saying Andre Berto is good for boxing.
