Why did Canelo get a title shot without fighting any ranked fighters in the division to get it? Guerrero is not getting the Mayweather fight on Berto alone. His career body of work has a lot to do with it and Berto was a top ranked welterweight .So was the other welterweight the Ghost beat. So the bigger question is why wouldn't it get Guerrero a title shot?

He hasn't denied it. He would have said "I never agreed". Canelo would not have given him the ultimatum if there was no agreement made for them to fight in September. Floyd don't take ultimatums. He didn't say "I never agreed", he said "I don't take ultimatums". Pretty obvious.
