Say what you want about Chambers but at least he's asking for a Pulev fight. Not running from it.

He's not really in the position for a Pulev fight, Pulev's got bigger fish to fry and Chambers last lost to Adamek. He should rematch Adamek if he wants to do anything at HW. Best would be to move down to CW, knowing that Wlad already smashed him once.

He was robbed against Adamek. You know that, don't you?

How is he not in a position? He's still a highly rated contender. And why would he need to fight Adamek again? Haven't you heard, fighters who sustain arm injuries and lose don't need to rematch anymore...or does that just go for Vitaly? Fact is Chambers would be a great test for Pulev. He might even make him look very bad if both arms are working properly. Why would any boxing fan NOT want to see one top fighter in the ring with another? BAFFLING!!

Let him fight Chakhkiev, Lebedev or Masternak and he would get smashed.
He can win a WBC against Wlodarczyk ez tho.

Lebedev? Lol, really? Chambers would embarrass him!

Nah, that result was fine, only biased, butthurt Americans and Brit tossers think otherwise.

Fact is Pulev wouldn't waste time on a fat cruiserweight when he's headed for a shot at Wlad, possibly this year.

                  Deal with it.

True. But, why wouldn't he ask for it? A fight/win against Pulev and he has a mandatory at Wlad/huge payday. At least he's still showing championship aspirations though, unlike Adamek.

As a boxing fan, I have no problem with this.... Sure Chambers lost to Adamek, but he was competitive with an injured arm, and he's still probably rated in all sanctioning bodies, and as far as the actual fight goes.... It's would be a good fight and Chambers would be a good test for Pulev..

BUT as a Pulev fan, I don't think he should fight Chambers, or anyone else.. and it's a bit unfair to Pulev, IMO. Pulev was part of a 4 man tournament, ALL fighters agreed to terms and knew what the winner would get.. Pulev took care of his guy, and Adamek didn't wanna fight him. Now if throughout the history of boxing, that guy- Adamek, who withdrew from the eliminator got REPLACED with a new opponent; fine. But that's not the case. When Tomy Thompson and Eddie Chambers were to fight for an eliminator to be Wlads mandatory, and Chambers pulled out.... What happened? Thompson became the mandatory and automatically got the scheduled forced fight with Wlad.

                    Why is this different?

Double edge sword for me. I wouldn't mind watching a Pulev-Chambers fight, but Pulev deserves to be Wlads mandatory and deserves his title shot, IMO.

Slightly off topic- what happened to Chambers fighting at cruiserweight? Lebedev is busy with Jones now, but still CW is pretty stacked, it wouldn't take long for Eddie to fight one of the titlists

So in other words you agree with the current trend of top heavyweight contenders avoiding other contenders. Nice. Its fans like you that enable this era to be the worst ever.
