My thoughts on Manny Pacman right now.

If his first goal was Marquez 4 youd have a great argument. But Manny said he had nothing more to prove with JMM and fought him a 4th time only after refusing floyd again and unsuccessfully getting Cotto to fight at another CW.

He got KTFO trying to make easy money, which is something your posting history suggests you would cheer.

I don;t know why you insist 4 was a cherrypick, 3 maybe, but by the time 4 happened it was clear JMM was very tough for him even at welter.

ive never used the words cherrypick so please dont interpret the post that way.

Manny himself said he had nothing more to prove with JMM and only made the deal after the floyd shennanigans and cotto rejected another CW. Manny was chasing what he thought was an easy check, especially having the fight at 147.

I can respect your opinion of JMM, but how can you possibly not factor in manny's own opinion of the 4th fight?

the way i see it is he got exposed......he's been use to facing face first brawlers because he's been hand-picking his opponents. pac thought jmm was washed up because floyd beat the crap outta him, so pac cherrypicked jmm in the third fight but ended up getting his ass whooped again. pac then looked like crap against bradley and got ktfo later on by a an older, slower, no lateral movement version of marquez......i think is just a case of him finally facing fighters who don't stand in front of him or give him some head movement....i don't think he is washed up......he just had no idea on how to fight a fighter who won't sit in front of him **** it out with him. put him in there with a bum like rios and he'll look like a million bucks again.

when a boxer gets KTFO like Pac, Paul William, Hatton, and Roy Jones did, it's over... boxers don't come back from that. Their ring life is cut short dramatically. it's almost too risky fighting a tune up fight because even a guy with no punching power like Bradley now has a chance to KO Pac. you almost want Pac to go right to another fight with JMM, even though there's an even greater chance JMM will KTFO Pac again. Better to get KTFO by the same guy than get KOed by someone else, unless it's Floyd to cash out.

Thats the way I pretty much see it. remember what happened to Roy Jones when he fought right after Tarver KO? he got knocked out even worse like he had lock jaw by Glen Johnson who isn;t a one punch artist, Roy lay there biting down on his teeth like he had lockjaw and was stiff as a board for a good two minutes.

That could happen to Pacman or even worse because he was already knocked out cold.

I don't know how picking the only fighter that has really given you problems easy money but you seem to know it all huh.
