    Why? He beat Tavoris Cloud.

He's probably the most impressive fighter today given his age, but he can't jump up the p4p rankings based on age.

        He's in idiotic top 10 p4p lists.

No ***** way. LHW is a terrible, terrible division.

            For beating Cloud?

If that somehow propelled Hopkins into top 10 P4P (for whatever thats worth. its just opinion/favoritism anyway, so who cares?) Then Sergey Kovalev SURELY is a top 10 P4P fighter after his destruction of Campillo.

Hopkins isn't even the best fighter in his division. Kovalev is going to absolutely run this division for years to come. Book it.

(that is if anyone wants to actually fight him)

Like everyone is saying, a win against Tavoris Cloud doesn't put you on the pound for pound list. That's all about who's the best here and now.

Hopkins isn't one of very top current fighters. He's the current fighter with the most incredible career.

Hes close, but I don't think so. That's no knock against him. Great accomplishment at 48.

No, not based on beating Cloud. Tavoris Cloud was never that good to begin with. He lost to Gabriel Campillo last year.

I was surprised so many people were picking against Hopkins. Cloud is the kind of fighter Hopkins always beats. He struggles with guys who are fast or have good footwork, not big punchers.

Guerrero is # 10 and he beat Berto.

Pacquiao has beaten no one of note since Miguel Cotto in 2009 and he's #7.

Wlad is in an even weaker division than LHW.

Broner is up there for beating DeMarco.

Hopkins wins over Pascal and Cloud are better than Donaire's last 4 wins, and Donaire is up there as #5.

Bernard Hopkins is in my top 10 P4P.
