I scored it a .................Bore!!! As usually Bernard spars his way through with a glorified sparring partner! Thats a disgrace to think that was a World Title match. This is why Boxings at the bottom of the heap below hockey!
People today don't know what a great fighters performance consists of. This was 36 minutes ticking off and there was maybe 3:00 of actually confrontation. He's a bore at any age! A waste of time to watch! Ray.

I thought it was a very entertaining fight. Hopkins is only boring against guys who move and box like he does. He's entertaining against guys like Cloud, and was last night.

Please stop saying Hopkins outclassed Cloud and won almost every round, cause he didn't. The HBO commentary makes it look like Hopkins is putting on a masterclass when he isn't throwing ANY PUNCHES and is just standing there doing nothing or moving away.

I scored 4 rounds a draw: rounds 1,2,4 and 9.
I gave Hopkins rounds 3,6,11 and 12
I gave Cloud rounds 5,7,8 and 10

And I was REALLY HAVING A HEADACHE giving rounds 11 and 12 to Hopkins cause he basically didn't really win them.
And even rounds 3 and 6 which I gave to Hopkins were in reality almost drawish kind of rounds.

So PLEASE watch the fight without commentary and you will see that apart from nothing happening the whole fight, you can make a case of Cloud outworking Hopkins and winning the fight by a point or two.
And don't get me wrong, I think it is incredible that Hopkins at age 48 can hang in there with Cloud, but to say he wins a round in which he is not doing anything is...well....

Cloud's own corner said in the 12th round that Cloud had to knock him down/out.

Hopkins didn't do much offensively but Cloud did less than not much!

Hopkins won a very clear fight. It was wider than I expected. I gave Cloud 2 rounds.

I gave three rounds to Cloud. It wasn't close.

Did Hopkins dominate like he did Tarver or Pavlik? No, not on that level but he clearly won the majority of rounds. There is no debate.

how can you score 4 rounds a draw? Thats taking the easy way out and it tells me that you were probably looking to take rounds away from Hopkins unless he dominated in them
