****ing insane to think he's nearly 50 and still mixing it up with the young in their prime fighters although I don't think Tarvois Cloud was anything spectacular.
What else more can Bhop do now though??
      Fight Nathan Cleverly?
I don't think he beats Chad Dawson in a rematch.

B-Hop deserves all his props but this fight was more about how weak and one dimensional a fighter Cloud is. Cloud loss his last fight this one was just official.

                B-Hop #1 at LHW baby.

He would beat Cleverly and Shumenov would be easy money. Just stay away from the scary Russian.
How can you think that when Dawson clearly beat BHop

Nothing left that B-Hop needs to do.

The man is quite simply a legend. The legend grows with every fight and if he gets the Cleverly fight, he will embarrass him to unify the belts.

                  Take a bow.

                    Not bad, not great either

To me the only real impressive thing about Hopkins is his ability to stay durable at an older age and a lot of that is due to his lack of tough fights in the 90s. With the exception of Jones in 93, He didn't fight another big name until Trinidad in 2001. The smartest thing he does is study his opponents films to make sure they have the right weaknesses that benefit his style before he signs them. It's impressive that he's still in there with young light heavyweights but the light heavyweight division isn't really showing much these days.

                      Just watched it.

                      1. Hopkins is the smartest fighter in the game, and probably has a case for smartest ever. He does this with nothing more than intelligence at this point.

                      2. I hope Hopkins keeps going as long as he can, which is a change in my opinion. At this point, why not see how long he can keep doing this? It wouldn't surprise me if he can beat Cloud level fighters at 50, 51 years old. Hell, maybe 52.

                      3. Cloud should be very disappointed in himself. There were things he did that could have won him this fight, and he did them at times, but he spent so much time fighting the way Hopkins wanted him to. I understand that is because of things Hopkins was doing, so don't start telling me "I don't know **** bout boxing," but when you do things that work, a fighter should be able to recognize and build on that.
