Only thing is that not everybody at Welterweight is at tough as Zaveck so not everybody will be able to constantly take Thurman Power Like This, Zaveck also has a strong guard

Not everybody at Welterweight is an immobile punching bag, which Zaveck was tonight. A bit disapoonted even if it was expected. Thought Zaveck would at least do more. Though I assume it's hard to survive an onslaught from a younger stronger man and dish it out yourself at the same time.

i wasn't convinced that Zaveck was the fighter to test Thurman, tbh.


that said, Thurman did show me some things.

Zavecks solid. He's a solid fighter and decent, lower world level fighter.

And obviously his toughest fight to date on paper so I thought he'd atleast show us something.

Thurman did what he had to do.

props to Zaveck, had it not been for Cuts (OFF OF HEAD BUTTS) against Berto I thought he would have beat Berto...the man is tough and he showed that against probably the hardest puncher at Welterweight Right Now

I think Thurman has a bright future. This was a good reality check for him. That defense has to get worked on.

Plus he leaves himself in some bad positions when he over extends on offense.

So Thurman's power and body shots had nothing to do with Zaveck's performance tonight? Gotcha.
