You just don't quit do you? I won't have to let you know about the "top" frauds at MW when they choose to avoid him because I'm sure there will be plenty of articles about it on here for you to discredit. 3G fighting Ishida, LMAO......where is he ranked? Where was Rosado ranked? Yeah, I thought so.Comment

You praise Barker for beating on absolute scrubs.
You're actually acting like this win tonight is something impressive. You were acting as if his win over Kerry Hope was something impressive
Kerry Hope!
And really, no one is avoiding Darren Barker. He simply brings nothing to the table. Once Barker actually beats a ranked fighter people might bat an eye lid at him.
In fairness to him, he's not struggling at European level anymore so he's on the up. He seems injury free now for the most part so hopefully he holds up.
As for Golovkin, I think he's unproven and overhyped at this moment in time.Comment

Barker/Macklin/Lee/Murray.
I just really want those guys to fight each other in all possible permutations. Surely, they all make serious money in these fights - they could sell out the 02 in Dublin every time, and like Barker says there is trilogies and all sorts to be had.
The issue with them is, I suspect none of them are just about good enough to win a world title. They could all possibly beat Geale but that title is lost to Australia. I haven't watched enough of Quillin but is he a step above these guys?
I honestly don't want another fighter to provide a road block and stop these fuckers from fighting each other. They should have been fighting each other for the last 3 years. If Quillin bumps another one of them off, I give up - because it's not going to happen.Comment

FFS. What was funny about it?
Given Barkers excessive career threatening injuries and recent lay offs, I'd suggest the "Barker is back" bit is quite appropriate and makes reference to his physical condition and not who he just beat.Comment

Barker got stopped by Sergio he was then plagued with injuries; hes come back & destroyed Hope who gave Proska fits twice & just beat a decent Euro level fighter who arguably beat Sylvester when he was good.
I'm not saying they're great wins but how he performed was impressive. I feel now he has something he may not of before and that is the killer instinct!
Hes added a S&C and is swimming etc
He looks a lot stronger, leaner & more purposeful than before.
I really do think hes coming back and his loss has made him stronger & a better fighter.
He's looking for a world title shot & that will come in the summer. Barkers a good fighter, he may not be the best middleweight in the world or second best but hes a good, solid pro who IMO creams most of that top 10.Comment
