How did YOU score Matthysse vs Judah?

Don't remember my score but I do remember the consensus that is was a very close fight. No robbery. I bumped one of the threads.

It's strange to see guys go to the point where they're denying that robberies even exist, that or saying that if they do exist then they're the fault of the guy who got robbed. At least they're in a small minority though, you won't find many boxing fans who'll refuse to acknowledge that hometown fighters get gift decisions.

Its always to protect and hype up another fighter; Rome does it because acknowledging Lucas beating Devon would need Bradley's win over devon wouldnt look so good. Dunn does it because Lucas is a threat to Garcia and he loves Al Haymon fighters too. I've already exposed him scoring the Devon fight for both Devon and Lucas. A lot of guys also didnt watch the fight. Whenever you see "lucas lost the first half of the fight", you know they didnt watch the fight and are just going by myths looking to discredit lucas. Its laughable, they criticize another person's way of scoring a fight yet cannot explain either guy winning the fight against lucas if they factor in clean punches landed.

So you think Lucas won? So what are you arguing about?

I understand, you have no idea how to score boxing fight. You give fights to "boxers" and then justify it by saying they had great movement or they controlled the pace or "generalship". How about punches landed. Boxing is a very simple sport, you punch each other and the guy who landed the best clean effective punches wins. Defense directly correlates off of offense. It impossible to win a fight "on defense". There is no such thing.

Of course you're hating on Matt. You believe he won, yet you take the "judges scorecard" instead and criticize him for losing? That makes no sense. Anyone who scored Lucas' fights with judah or Devon against Lucas has no idea how to score fights, simple. There arent 100s of ways to score fight, there's one way.

Some pretty bizarre reasoning being offered by Matthysse's critics all round here. Strange that such an unassuming guy gets some people so upset.

People don't hate matts or are biased. The problem is some of his fans have taken such an extreme fringe position about him that they call any fair criticism hate. Matts isn't the victim of a gbp conspiracy. He isn't being held back.

The truth is he was an imperfect fighter when he fought zab and lost imo because he gave away all the early rounds. Yes you can argue he got screwed in st louis. But since then gbp has protected his #1 ranking by feeding him ajose who was out for a year, soto who given his style had no chance and then lundygdallas jr.

If you guys think that much of matthysse because he has so much power, how come you aren't complaining when he gets soft touches? If garcia is being protected so the hell is lucas.

No one wants to fight him. He's high-risk, low-reward as he doesn't sell tickets. I'm not a big Matthysse fan but imo he'll fight anyone at 140lbs in their backyard.
