Boxing is one of the most profitable sports to bet on.
This is true.....football (American), basketball, etc. are all a crapshoot. I mean who in the hell ever thought Baltimore would beat out the Broncos and Pats to make it to the Superbowl?

The NBA is a mess. An absolute mess. Outside of Haralabob Voulgaris, I don't think anyone bets that sport profitably (outside of player props, and they put a really small limit on those.)

But I'll share with you **** hawks some bet picks over the coming months, on which I shall be betting REAL money.

Hopkins vs. Cloud - I've put £30 ($45.20, Fat Yanks) on betting underdog Bore Hard Slopkins.
Here's the post of a smug prick.

I put £100 ($149.34, Fat Yanks) into my bets from now until May. I just had £72.82 come back into my account, so even if I lose the other eight bets (which probability dictates I won't) I'll still have only lost just over £27.

Other bets I haven't discuss include picking Froch to beat Kessler in their rematch... though Froch is the slight betting favourite in that, I was just talking about underdog bets.

Stick with me guys, do I ever lead you wrong?

It actually pisses me off that I've only started to get back into ******** on boxing again this week, because I would have taken a punt on Thompson at those odds. I would have also bet on Audley Harrison winning Prizefighter, a tournament tailor made for him. He could beat relative novices over a three round distance all year round.

my "new year's resolution" (silly thing fat yanks do, "bias brits,") last year was to gamble more. . i never got to it, though. i couldn't gamble for years because of my media credentials.

now it is on like kong, but i can't seem to find a website i trust to pull the trigger. the first time i signed up for one my credit card was frozen immediately . five dimes has a nice reputation.
people always got a kick out of that one. "my new year's resolution is to gamble more."

watch me go broke now that i'm talking this big game.

I will be betting Froch to beat Kessler 100%. Wish I had gotten it sooner. It opened at like -170. Bet up to -205 now. I'm hoping it will go back down a little.

Dunno if you fat ****ing Yanks can use that one...

I don't think we can. I check the odds there sometimes, because they tend to get boxing odds out faster than other places.

They've always been EXTREMELY fair to me. I remember once there was a fight which was, ISTR, a three-way split draw. As I'd backed the guy who was defending his belt, they gave me the cash, with the understanding that he'd retained his belt.

I was gonna email them and say "wtf??? But he didn't WIN, it was a DRAW" but decided that there are times when it's best to keep your mouth shut.

Another time their server went down for half an hour and, seeing I'd tried to log in, gave me £10 for free.
