Personally, this is not a PPV fight but I am sure they will try to pull it off. I guess with an outstanding undercard it would be great and to the guy that called Canelo the next Hagler:

i'm going to be rooting for trout in this fight. i'd much rather see a humble fighter who worked his way up the hard way get some fame and recognition instead of some protected fighter with a big ego.

Canelo is the second coming of Marvin Hagler. He's in PHENOMENAL shape always. He's not getting caught up in all the celebrity, all the fame. He's a wrecking machine, who will make you fight every second of every round, steal your heart, make you bleed, drop your hands to protect those hammered ribs, makes you quit, then knocks you out. He has the absolute right mindset. In order to be the best, become a legend, you fight the best of the best, win, lose, or draw, in their PRIME. Don't hand pick your career to death, looking for a safe route to the bank each fight out, just as Mayweather does. Floyd made Cotto and Mosley wait 10 years. He's made Pacquaio wait for more than 4 years and with two recent losses, Junior Mayweather still won't fight Manny; he's too dangerous still. Junior will never fight Canelo, so no sense even talking about that. Canelo has the tools, the youth, the commitment to dominate a division for 10 years or more and clean out everyone around you, from 154 to 175. Trout will take a beating to his body that will empty is tank early, and then it becomes a slow kill. Canelo stops him around 7 or 8 rounds.

this is not a PPV event...if Alvarez comes 2 fight, is aggresive, w/his size/strength over Cotto, I can't c Cotto there after 6 or 7...

Critics said he'd never fight Austin Trout. Canelo-Trout is signed for Weed smokers day.

Critics said that out of his Martinez, Cotto, Angulo options, he'll pick Angulo because he's the easiest one of all three. Instead he still shows interest in fighting Miguel Cotto. Who he actually picks remains to be seen but I have a feeling a lot of you will be shut down again.
