What round are they saying the jaw broke in now? The 2nd? 1st? Did it break during training camp and he's a super warrior who went into the fight with it now?

When did ortiz break his jaw before the 9th round? Because he was able to bite down and talk to his corner up until the end of the 9th round. He broke his jaw in the 9th from josesitos left hook and a spit second after it landed you can visibly see his entire face change from the intense pain.

Secondly, it's a loaded (and ******ed/puerile) question : No matter how I answer it (which I won't, because I can't) you'd have a problem with my answer.
The bottom line is that Victor Ortiz quit.
Can he bounce back from it? Maybe. Plenty of other fighters have bounced back from quitting in a bout and it had little to no impact on their reputation as a fighter or the legacy they left behind in the ring.
See : The guy in my second sig banner.
However : Most of those guys weren't repeated quitters like Ortiz is.
Now, having said that, I'm going to do like Victor Ortiz and quit this conversation, because it seems to me that most of you Ortiz fans are incapable of discussing this rationally. Instead, you prefer to label everybody 'keyboard warriors' and demand they answer hypothetical questions that nobody could possibly have the answers to.Last edited by ßringer; 03-06-2013, 05:33 PM.
