Fans are idiots, plain and simple. They have never fought and if they got a broken nail, they would be crying like babies. They like to talk **** from the comfort of their own homes eating doritos acting like they are tough.
Victor fought 4 rounds with a severely broken jaw, the fact he kept on going was amazing. Having a broken jaw is probably the worst injury you can have in boxing.
He also had a compound fracture, that's crazy. -
I give a lot of **** to Ortiz for quitting during the Maidana fight but I can't blame him at all even if he did quit during the Lopez fight his jaw was broken in two places and he still toughed it out a few rounds can't take any credit away from him for that.Comment

bull****, this is what happened..quote for quote
referee: say what?
ortiz: my jaw is broken
referee: your whats broken? your jaw? are you stopping the fight?
ortiz: yeah cause my jaw is BROKEN
referee signals its over
ortiz gets up
referee: no no, dont move, dont move... sit down
but im not blaming Ortiz, youre a ****** if you keep fighting with a broken jawLast edited by dudeiknow; 03-06-2013, 10:33 AM.Comment

I think to many people want to give Ortiz credit, no matter how you say it he lost and by RTD. Certain fighters have a never say quit attitude and some dont like Victor plain and simple. I think itd be a safe bet that Josesito woulda finished with a broken jaw hell I think Josesito woulda finished the 12rds with Canelo, he woulda probably suffered 20+ knockdowns but woulda kept fighting.Comment
