I don't like GRJ, the hype around him while fighting unknown boxers.

But I think he's sincere about not seeing these guys fight. When you mean to say that as a diss to a boxer, you don't say "No disrespect", that's corny. You mean full disrespect when you say you haven't seen some one fight. Russell said "No disrespect but" when he said he hadn't seen that other guy fight, forgot who it was. In this case, I don't see him disrespecting Garcia either. I don't see it as a diss, I think it's genuine. This is probably the only good post I will say about Russell, otherwise to me he is a hype job at this moment.

You guys would actually be surprised how oblivious athletes are to other athletes. Some are bull****ting when they say they don't know who is who, in this case Russell is really oblivious, but he will change once he stops being a prospect.

ya im a huge russel fan but right now id take mikey without a doubt in 2 years that might not be the case . i dont think he was sayin he never seen him fight to be ****y like broner he probably hasn't. we as fans just assume boxers watch as much boxing as us

I find it weird with Russell. He seems to have an abundance of talent but they seem to be moving him along slowly. He has a ton of amateur experience so there is no reason to not move him along faster.

I personally believe it is because of his hands. Still hard to tell at this stage.

Gary is only focusing on cleaning out the divisions where there are no bums left. Once that's accomplished he will attempt to fight the bums @ 130 and leave the Champs up there alone. He won't even bother to watch them.
