The people that Broner is fighting are GARBAGE and SMALL. You want to justify him fighting guys like Eloy Perez or Vincente Escobedo based on bogus rankings that are generated solely for the purpose of setting up money prize fighters? Go ahead. It doesn't change the fact that he is a bum beater who defends his title against people who have no reason being in the ring, and he lost to PDL. Perhaps there are others that are as least deserving as Broner, but none are less deserving than he.

At least he's fighting guys in his division that are ranked in the top 10. They may not be good but they are ranked.

Canelo hasn't faced a single top 10 fighter in his division... He's skilled, but he hasn't faced anyone.

If those guys aren't good, yet they are ranked, then doesn't that hint toward corruption and fixing in the rankings for the purposes of setting of fighters like Broner? Did you ever think that it was set up so that they would move to a certain place in the rankings just to fight Broner?

You have admitted yourself that he is not fighting guys who are any good. I'll assume you also agree with the rest of the world that he was given a gift in his fight with PDL, where there were several rounds where he did literally NOTHING. So now the burden is on you to explain exactly how he is more deserving of a title than Canelo, since you brought him up.

diaz was actually the real champ at 135 because santa cruz beat casamayor but got robbed in probably the worst robbery in boxing history, then diaz beat santa cruz. this doesn't mean that diaz was very good of course. just like baldomir was not very good.
