PDL did better than expected and threw a lot of punches.

Broner made him miss and picked off a lot of punches. They both landed about the same amount of punches in that fight.

There were a lot of swing rounds that either guy would had won. It depends on what you like: defense and countering or more punches thrown.

Neither guy dominated the fight and there are a lot of dull rounds in that fight

Just because you throw a lot of punches doesn't mean that they all score. PDL slowed down after a good start. Broner blocked a lot of shots, and PDL was countered. That's what I saw. PDL got some punches in, but nothing to say that he won. Both guys didn't want to get hit by the other guy. Calling this fight a robbery is a disgrace.

its funny, right after the fight ppl were going "ponce could have got the decision", some time passes and all of a sudden ponce definitely won, by now its a highways robbery of epic proportions.

ppl dont know how to score fights though, they go by who throws more regardless of whether they land or not. some ppl actually think you score points by being aggressive alone even if the punches miss, in reality not only do you not score anything but your oponent scores on defense.

a lot of fans dont include defense when they score fights though and the same thing goes for ring generalship, then they want to turn around and call fights robberies when they clearly werent.

it was a close fight but ponce wasnt robbed at all, just like broner wouldnt have been robbed if it went in the other direction. the only thing ponce was robbed off was a rematch that should have taken place.

but if anyone won it was broner, great defense, cleaner punches and ring genralship was all in his favor. ponce outworked him in a few rounds especially early but broner rightfully won the fight.

Read most replies to your posts in the threads you usually trawl through (usually Broner/Mayweather/Pacquiao threads) and you'll see the definition of disregarded. Brb, just gonna go get some Rep power from the forum lounges...
