Did Abril up his stock tonight?

Or did it stay the same? Haters/critics will always be there and its impossible to please everybody so he's always gonna have criticism. But for the most part I see a lot of people around here "praising" his skillset. I noticed at the beginning of the fight the crowd was real bias towards Bogere, every time he swung they would cheer for the guy. As the fight went on those cheers started shifting towards Abril's side and they were even booing Mora when he warned Abril. So I think they started to appreciate what Abril was doing in there a little more.

I think the same will happen around this place as people watch him more often. You know, his style is like that ugly girl at work that you see everyday and interact with but then somehow you start finding something attractive about her cause you see her so much.

I think his stock might've gone up a TINY BIT. Keep in mind its his second fight in Vegas. I didn't enjoy the fight, it was an ugly fight and Mora pissed me off but I definitely enjoyed watching Abril do his thing.

He clearly beat a high ranked undefeated lightweight. He uped his stock and could be a guy to fight and possibly beat Broner.

it shoud he dealt with with a lot in that fight he basically had 3 opponents.

      the cuts
      his opponent
      the ref

an in the end he clearly won.

but i think he learned tonight he doesn't need to hold and clinch i loved it when he just started to throw and land right hands,he needs to do that more.

if he fights broner those clinching and holding tactics will get him lit up.

Abril is a beat at lightweight. he'd be the longest fighter Broner has faced. It would be interesting to see them fight. Cause Broner has only been in there with smaller men who like to go to war. I'm telling you, once Broner gets in there with someone close to his size, he's gonna struggle. Abril can do that.

yeah boring, how can your stock go up when your fight was a snooze fest and you are a point fighter?

Stock only goes up when you amaze and impress with slick crisp skill or warrior hearted action.

Abril is boring imagine a fight between him and Miguel Vazquez? they would need some track shoes in that fight.

Upped his stock. Abril is a solid boxer who's record isn't really indicative of his skills or accomplishments.

Unfortunately you're right. Boxing is a tough sport and not just at all.

Maybe the reason why Abril didn't get robbed its because GBP IS trying to build a fight vs Broner? I mean, all the Showtime crew talked about afterwards was Broner vs Abril even tho Broner is not a Showtime fighter (unless he's making the crossover).
