Mathysee was a better opponent than Guerrero who quit against Yordan & outbox by Salido(steroid wont help outboxing). But Mathysee is not in the line up. Alexander or Khan next!

Because he's coming off a knock out loss. The win would be meaningless.

Mathysee was robbed in 2 of his losses, against a Floyd type of fighter, Judah & alexander. Mathysee's bigger than guerrero!

lmao, neither judah nore alexander fight anything like floyd. wtf is wrong with u?and even saying that, he didnt beat neither that convincingly at all. the judah fight was rather close and even the alexander fight wasnt anything special. so having two ok performances against the likes of judah and alexander at 140 gets u a fight with floyd at 147??? and ur telling me guerrero is the cherrypick???

it's the sorrounding circumstances that makes this fight not a cherry pick...like welterweight being a weak division right now and the ****** promoters' fued that's preventing other matches from happening.

for what's it worth though this is not a good fight like some people are saying. you can't find a single relevant advantage that guerrero has over floyd or even close to matching floyd's attributes for him to have a chance of beating floyd.

you can't point out guerrero's inside fighting that he displayed against berto to be his weapon against floyd. berto almost leaned on the ropes by himself in theat fight so that guerrero can pin him without having to cut the ring. that's not gonna happen with floyd at all. guerrero will eat floyd's counters coming in and even if he gets sucessful getting inside, floyd would just smoothers him with his shoulder roll.

he can't box with floyd too as floyd is the master of that. with floyd's reach, speed, good control of distance and ring generalship...what is there for guerrero to capitalize on?

it's a cherry pick cause Guerrero is not that much of a challenge, but Floyd's coming off a layoff and he might be rusty... that means Guerrero is the best available tune up... but Floyd's next fight better be against someone dangerous... preferably Martinez at 154

Canelo wants to fight Floyd in September not May so he shouldn't count. Sergio Martinez already has a fight set up for April so he's out. Marquez already lost bad to Floyd a few years ago, so I don't see why Floyd would want to fight him again. I'm not even a fan of Floyds', but I don't see what he's doing wrong here with facing Guerrero.

Who would have been a better opponent for Floyd to fight in May over Guerrero?
Canelo didn't sign to fight Trout until after Floyd chose Guerrero, correct me if I'm wrong. So Canelo and Trout would have been better opponents but Guerrero is definitely not a cherry pick, especially after such a long layoff.
