Meh I don't see Matthyse as some boogeyman like other people. Still had trouble with Judah and fought a competitive fight with Alexander(Regardless of who you thought won or loss). I wouldn't see why he is worth ducking for Broner. At the same age Mayweather whooped a superior Corrales.

That's like asking LarryX if he thinks Mayweather loses to Ali or Tyson or ANYONE.
It was a rhetorical question basically lol

Wouldn't really be mad if he fights paulie in June. As long as he fights in 140 afterwards I don't see him skipping 140 completely like guererro

Broner definitely fights like Alexander and Judah. Triangle theories ftw. And how the hell are you comparing Mayweather vs Corrales and Matthysse vs Broner? Dumb post.

That's why I believe Broner vs. Matthysse will happen at some point. I don't think he can be a legitimate star in the sport without beating guys like that.

Guerrero took a gamble and it paid off. Had he lost something tells me he would've gone down to 140 or 135. I seriously doubt Broner goes down in weight if he beats Paulie.

It will happen once Mattyhsse is shot. Mayweather really didn’t start cherry picking until he became a big name, Broner is already a huge name in the sport, his cherry picking has already started

When they witness Matthysse getting outfought in close, constantly beaten to the punch from mid range and eventually taken out, watch them still deny him. That's if Matthysse is still winning by the time it happens.

How the hell is Broenr gonna be a star without somewhat pushing the envelope and taking on tougher challenges at a young age? That's about the only way to truly legitimize him. Fighting the Demarco's of the world isn't gonna set anyone on fire. He is gonna have to take some riskier fights at a young age like Mayweather did.

I hate the thought of him playing hopscotch with weight classes this early in his career.

I don't know why they don't just handle business at 135, then move up to 140 next year. Something doesn't seem right.
