They both just said they won’t fight each other, that won’t happen, its GBP saving Broner from life threatening injuries if he fights any of the top 140 fighters

This is so they don't have to match Broner vs. Danny Garcia or Pete. He's said before that he won't fight them because their like family.

What I would do is move Pete up to 147 after he loses to Matthysse and let him take Alexander's belt.

Then have Broner fight Matthysse and/or Khan at 140.

idc why they would do it, its still gonna hurt him in the long run. a 24 yo has business jumping over an entire weight class. paulie is absolutely right sounds like something schafer would say, but not what i would expect from haymon or broners inner camp.

I don't see it as a huge deal. Broner is a stocky dude. For what he lacks in height and length, he's strong. But I could see lengthier guys giving him trouble.
