I wonder why Broner does not go to 140 and challenge Matthysse, Peterson and Garcia. Actually I know why. Those guys can punch and Paulie can't. Paulie is a very weak 147 pound champion who will lose to the first good welterweight he fights and Broner and the better 140 pounders would beat him too.

No reason Broner should be contemplating skipping 140. There are some GREAT fights there. If he jumps to 147 to fight Paulie, that is some cheesy ****.

It makes good $en$e if you think about it. This makes broner a Welterweight Champion, at the same time it gives him experience at 147 before those guys currently at 140, with whom he'll have the leverage in money cause he is a Champion, They will move up soon and we will still get to see those fights eventually, Broners keeps his 0 until PPV headliner time. These fights will be PPV and HBO has its next Mayweather. Money for everyone.
