Lets be fair here, how many fighters have signed a guarantee to fight somebody else, before he even won his current fight?

That's pretty much what I said yesterday. Why on Earth would Canelo fight on an undercard leaving money behind, without a guarantee from Floyd?
People saying Canelo is ducking is out of their minds.

Truthfully doesn't matter whether Alvarez was on the PPV or not cause Trout vs Alvarez is a much better fight than PBF vs Guerrero.
Why didn't GBP put Trout vs Alvarez on ppv? I really want to see what his buy rate would be with all the stuff people talk about him.
But Alvarez is a draw. I think he's as big a draw as anyone not named Pacquiao, Mayweather or even Cotto.

Canelo would have been ill advised fighting on that undercard leaving behind money like that. I mean. Canelo can easily headline a card by himself.

Even though that is just one fight I have to respect the amount of people that tuned in to that fight. I partially stand corrected. Do you got any ppv card numbers for fights with and without Alvarez on the undercard? If the numbers are in the 100,000's then I stand 100% corrected and will admit I was wrong about that young manLast edited by tredh; 03-01-2013, 01:45 PM.
