Dan Rafael is right on with this. Look, I respect Floyd as a great fighter but let's be honest here, he's cherry picked opponents his entire career. He knows when it's right and not right to fight certain guys.

I think the Pac thing was a bit of the same, he just wanted to impose his will on Pac and his people and let them know it was he who was in charge of everything.

I remember one time Floyd saying that when he fought DLH, it was Oscar who dictated everything and that now he's in a position to do the same.

That's fine but when it hurts you're legacy and you're fans, that's not good.

I think he fights Canelo anyway, he just wants to show him who has the bigger d1ck right now.

You know what's funny none of those fanbases can even muster up a thread that talks up a fighter they like. Its like since Margarito lost his eye and his dignity they have been on a crusade to **** on all things Floyd.

Really though. then Alvarez will be too young and too green. And they'll say Alvarez didn't deserve the fight becausE the only person he beat was a overrated trout.

Canelo is losing by UD...if things are fair as far as judges.

I don't think Trout can beat Alvarez by a wide enough margin to avoid losing a decision. If its remotely close, Alvarez is getting it.

I hope nothing like that happens, but its reality.

Then he refused a percentage split, only wanting to pay Pacquiao a set fee, which he knew was a non-starter.
Wow, one of the most biased articles I've read in a long time. No mention of Pac initially refusing the testing even with a 14 day window, no mention of Arum using excuses such as "Pac's cut will take too long to heal" "We need to build a stadium on the vegas strip" "Floyd needs somebody to guarantee his 50%". Rafael is a fraud.

Rubbish article, why should Floyd sign to fight Canelo? What if Pacquiao wins in spectacular fashion an the fight with Pacquiao becomes an option?

                Good point.

Or hell what if Trout was clearly robbed. This site would shut down if Mayweather fought Canelo after that.

Its only a matter of time before Alvarez is back to being a green, chinny, unproven bum. Thats how it goes here.

I have been asking for the past 2-3 days. Since everybody from the media to fans keeps telling the world Alvarez is a draw can anyone please post any fighters cards that Alvarez has been on the undercard. Post the live gates and ppv buys with and without Alvarez. IMO Alvarez just ain't that popular espcially here in the US.

Truthfully doesn't matter whether Alvarez was on the PPV or not cause Trout vs Alvarez is a much better fight than PBF vs Guerrero.

Why didn't GBP put Trout vs Alvarez on ppv? I really want to see what his buy rate would be with all the stuff people talk about him.

I agree, Floyd has an ego, there's no doubting that, but when was the last time Floyd signed two fights in advance? You gotta give him respect in that aspect, he's never overlooked any opponents and I don't think he'll start now.
