Why so much attention?

Why is it people who clearly dislike Floyd pay so much attention to him? I think he has made it clear that he is going to fight whoever he wants when he wants. Why is that so hard for people to accept? If you do not like his choice of opponent the most effective thing you can do is not watch the fight. Ultimately nothing said hear affects his paycheck. What you eat doesn't make him ****.

I would love to see Floyd fight Martinez, Manny, and Carnelo. Is that likely to happen? probably not. I just wonder for those who do make disparaging comments about Floyd, or any other fighter for that matter what are you hoping to accomplish?
