Guys who can fight at 140. And their both not good enough technically to get over their physical handicaps at the higher weight.
This Is a fair assessment but besides power Lucas doesn't do anything that much better then Garcia, I think Garcia is a much better counter puncher and that will be a major reason why I favor him over Mattysse, the Harcia doesn't waste many punches, and he has decent power to go along with that, he can discourage Lucar from getting wild and trying to bully him

i always thoght garcia-matthysse was 50-50 fight. but i thought peterson as too - in fact slightly favoured peterson to win! - so, after last weekend 've gotta think the odds have shifted sighty towards lucas! however, i still think its a 55-45 fight and will be interested to see what happens if/when garcia lands his left hook. irrespective of who wins, these are the fights that need to made and that define boxing.

I don't think so, I think Ortiz packs just as much power as
Mattysse, and with his speed, Lopez took solid shots and kept coming, don't underestimate Lopez, he will give
Maidana a lot of trouble as well

Otherwise it's Matthysse. Even his glancing blows can rock you hard.
Wilder hasn't fought one decent opponent yet. KOing Audley in 1st is nothing new, Price did it before Wilder. There is no way to tell if Wilder hits harder than Price.

At the moment the hardest puncher is Wlad, followed by Haye..

It reads more like you hate Matthysse and like Mayweather. Floyd would probably win but old Mosley showed not so long ago that Floyd can be hit and hurt. Matthysse is much better than the Mosley that staggered Mayweather. He has a puncher's chance to beat Mayweather and he is a great puncher with both hands. It does not really matter because I doubt Mayweather will fight him anyway. I think Alexander is very likely to get the Mayweather fight in September and Garcia is also a possible opponent for Floyd.

Mattysse destroys anyone who'll sit and trade with him. Maidana is gonna beat Lopez too.

He has a better chance than most people on here give him. That left hook is ferocious and when executed perfectly can KO any fighter at 140 imo.

Lucas being a bit wild could work in his favour. You can't beat Floyd trying to be technical.
When was the last time Floyd fought a guy who could cut a ring off and apply intelligent pressure? It was against a faded Cotto who gave him a tough fight & before that? Castillo?

I'll tell you what is out of hand, just how much people go on like Floyds unbeatable. Hes unbeatable because he ducks every legit threat and people excuse him for it. ''Oh Floyd wins anyway''
Lucas has the equaliser. I don't give a **** who you are, how good your defense is, who you have beaten or whatever else if you fight Lucas Matthysse you are going to get hit to head and body and he has a punchers chance against anybody.

His chin, conditioning, constant pressure, counterpunching ability, power, his ability to cut a ring off make him a threat against anybody and that includes Mayweather.
Lucas isn't a worthy opponent but apparently Alexander & Khan are, p1ss funny!
If you can't see how he can potentially give Floyd one hell of a go you're either blinded with hate or so far up Floyds ass you can see hundred dollar bills.
