Absolutely. And its been more obvious since he returned from his "retirement." Because he's been fighting more stationary and outside of Cotto, no one is swarming him. A good example is the DLH fight. DLH was having success using his jab, cutting off the ring, and keep Floyd pinned to the ropes. But in either rd five or six, Floyd caught DLH with a beautiful counter right over the top of DLH's jab and buckeled him. At that moment, the fight changed. DLH claims he "forgot" to continue throwing his jab. Many of Floyd's critics were saying DLH faded. But the fact is, he didn't want to deal with too many more of those counter rights over the top of his jab and stopped throwing it because of it.

Floyd does has say on who referees the fight. And i`m sure Floyd is gonna get a ref that`s not gonna allow Guerrero to foul without being penalized.
Then the Floyd haters are gonna blame the ref and say the ref did`nt let Guerrero fight his fight(which means cheating) just like a lot of Hatton fans said after the Floyd/Hatton fight.Comment

Maybe you can't perform the same way you use to at 35+ but Floyd is a professional boxer who never drinks, smokes..ect and stays in condition yr round, so you're 35+ and Floyd's 35+ are totally different. As the late great E. Steward use to say "Floyd's not normal". Floyd has been more effective at this age then ever before, a younger 30- Floyd would have probably had trouble with someone like Ortiz who was 24..Comment

Mayweather vs Ortiz II....
Ridiculous that people are already lining up excuses for RG losing. The ref? 8 or 9 of the rounds he fought Cotto was inside fight game for the entire round. Ortiz was allowed to repeatedly headbutt, and use rough tactics, but RG is SSSSOOOO dangerous that a favorable ref needs to be employed for this fight. GOT IT!!Comment
