Regardless of what the critics say, I respect Floyd for being a gentlemen and wanting the best for his predecessor. I think it takes a real man to put his pride and merits to the side and acknowledge a fighter who maybe one day might be able to achieve or surpass the accomplishments Floyd did.

Like the previous poster said, Floyd wasnt fighter of decade, he refused to fight a prime Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao. You dont have the torch to pass.

I think Canelo is going to try and take the torch. Floyd did duck some competition on the way up there's no denying it. However, he seems to be willing to take on all comers at this point. Broner won't have it as easy because when he gets to 140 there are monsters waiting for him.
