Feels like a 24/7 (or whatever showtime calls theirs) stunt to drum up interest in this fight.
I am sure we will be treated with the obligatory blow up in the gym between these guys to try and get everyone talking and make it seem like Floyd is slipping and Ghost may actually have a chance.

Either that or Floyd was just tired of not being able to understand a word that comes out of Roger's mouth.

the real reason is guerrero!!! and his veterano looking dad, the mayweathers are shook to the core! he knows he needs to bring in the big guns for the ghost and sr is also there to let him know if hes really losing the fight, which he will be toward the later rounds!

It's because he never understood a word that Roger said.

No way. I don't think Floyd minded how much he got hit in the Cotto fight. I think he liked how happy the crowd was and wasn't really affraid of a little extra contact as he was getting ready to do a stint in prison. Plus I believe the reasoning. 24/7 showed Roger in a fast food place drinking soda and lementing that he probably shouldn't be, as he is quickly losing his health and vision, but basicly saying "f*** it, you only live once." It was on the Ortiz series.

Floyd's fighting a young buck who likes to punch at mid range and seems to have a ****ton of stamina.

I think it is this ^^^^^^^^^

Roger has been on the slide for a while. Id be surprised if we see him training Floyd again as he has been progressively getting worse and worse over the years

I think it's because his health is deteriorating. They've been talking about it for a while.

Even before the Cotto fight, Floyd was talking about how Roger is slowing down at a rapid rate.

I don't think after 17 years as a pro he needs to learn how to defend again, he knows how to defend. He doesn't need or want his Father to remind him.

He's brining in his Father solely because Roger is not well.
