What % chance does Peterson have to beat Matthysse?

People love to rewrite history. Lucas was this "rugged brawler" from argentina who "boxer" judah was suppose to clown, he was a cherry pick. Then he beats Judah down, gets robbed in his first big stage fight and thats all people talk about. By some posts, you'd think Lucas has only fought 1 fighter his entire careerComment

I really don't understand how people mention the Judah-Mathysse fight as a factor as to what happens today? Mathysse has obviously improved leaps and bounds since.
That's like saying Mayweather can't be Hatton because of his performance against Castillo.
Or Wlad can't beat Solis because he lost to Puritty.
Or Broner can't beat whoever because of his performance against PDL.
Wlad, Broner, and Mathysse have improved since those fights. I just don't get why people do that.
That said, Mathysse beats everyone at 140, including Broner and Peterson, of course.
The only one possibly beating Mathysse at 140 is Bradley.
Peterson is good and I like his story, but he's just not beating Lucas. All of his strengths play against him and into Mathysse hands (i.e. inside fighting, going to the body, trading, etc.).
I can see Peterson beating Garcia, but probably losing to someone like Rios if that fight was ever made. I'm pretty sure he would lose to Marquez also.
Mathysse beats all of the guys mentioned above. His fight against Judah has nothing to do with it, just like Broner's fight against PDL or first two rounds against Rees has nothing to do with this conclusion. It's just the way it is at the moment.Comment

40% in Mathysse favor. With all the hype surrounding Mathysse on this site I was surprised to see the results so far.Comment

They just won't listen. How do they expect THIS version of Peterson to beat Matthysse???I really don't understand how people mention the Judah-Mathysse fight as a factor as to what happens today? Mathysse has obviously improved leaps and bounds since.

real talk man, all these slick boxing fans are idiots and just scared of anyone whose a threat to their fightersEven funnier how people conveniently forget that Matthysse was a nobody to feed to Judah, with zero big stage experience, that Judah was supposed to look impressive against. Also funny how people conveniently ignore that the majority of boxing fans consider that a gift, at best, and in some cases a flat out robbery.
Funnily convenient how a three year old fight in Matthysse's first chance on a big stage is held against him, but other fighters struggling against worse fighters a year or two ago doesn't matter, because they've improved.Comment

I saw relatively no difference from his 2011 performances against Cayo and Khan. That's pretty impressive too, considering that he was very inactive.Comment
