No he said, if a canelo bout versus himself presents itself, or a trout fight presents itself, then he will make it happen, but he's focused on Trout! Canelo is big and strong, but I dont know why people act like Floyd would duck him! Its been WIDELY publicized that Floyd will fight him in september, and was going to fight him last year until we all bomboarded gbp email with letters about how he didnt deserve the fight until he proved himself.

That is the obligatory thing for him to say....it's meaningless. He normally says that he would dominate them or something similar, he doesn't sound as confident as he normally does. He played basketball with some kids to start prepping his cardio? I thought he was training all year round, that's what people say at least. Sounds like he has been just "chilling" for a while....I don't see him liking the idea of having to fight Trout or Canelo honestly.

I still say the only way Trout fights Floyd is if he just destroys Canelo and creates a serious buzz. If Trout wins a Lara/Vanes type snoozefest I think Floyd passes on Trout for the time being and stays at WW. Until Trout can build his name up. The man did sign a 6 fight deal.

Thats not excuse its a fact, the only reason floyd fought Gatti is because Hatton and Cotto both stated they where not ready. So Gatti got a beating that was meant for Cotto or Hatton.

He was open to fighting Cotto when he was undefeated but at the time Arum didn't want him to fight Mayweather. The same goes with Oscar and Shane. He called these guys out when he was up and coming but he was to much of a risk.

Talk is cheap. Floyd also said "Manny you are next!"

Floyd fought all 3 you mentioned when it was too late ..... after a while, you have to stop blaming everyone else and start to put some blame on Floyd for not putting that extra effort in getting those fights earlier on (or later if the opponent still needs time to mature).
