20 years from now, that win will mean more than it does now....everyone here will be old and too busy to troll forums( i hope)....the next generation is being schooled by HBO and Showtime...as long as those networks give Floyd credit he'll get it

PERSONALLY, I felt like he was too big and it blows my mind that ppl say he didn't beat him with size but skill...smh...Floyd fought a BIG man's fight...Marguez landed a perfect right hand in that fight and Floyd just smiled...Shane landed a right hand and Floyd was almost knocked down/knocked out....size had alot to do with that imo

          This is the new Marquez

NO WHERE NEAR THE SAME GUY
          Babble babble shabble shabble.

Why would it even matter when Marquez only landed a handful of shots on Floyd - barely? No matter at what weight, Marquez can't touch Floyd. He thinks too much and while he does that, Floyd would tag him. Pacquiao would do a better job against Mayweather than Marquez I believe.

The win over Marquez means very little. That was the same Marquez who had a close bout with Casamayor and went life and death with Diaz. The steroid version of Marquez is a different beast.

Mosley is a strong WW and a power puncher. Marquez is not. No matter what size. Floyd rolled with every single punch Marquez threw at him. Even that right hand.

How did Mayweather fight a big mans fight again? He didn't push Marquez around. He outthought and outboxed him.

Marquez was used to be the clever one in the ring. It just happens that there's only one other fighter in the world who can outthink him - Floyd Mayweather. Marquez was too busy trying to calculate every move. That's not how you win fights against Mayweather.

What good does a bulkier frame if you can't hit the target? Marquez will never be a volume puncher against Floyd. He will try and do the thinking man's game. And in that fight he'll lose - every single time.

                  K. Webster has it right!! Comparing outcomes using same opponents is meaningless. Joe Frazier was dominated by Big George, and Joe was one of the best high rate workers in heavyweight history. Mayweather has always been very carefull who he fights and When he fights them! Ray.

                      marquez jumped 2 weight classes.
