What do you think of Floyd Mayweather's inactivity?

Only 2 fighters have ever received large criticism from ring layoffs, one being Sugar Ray Leonard and other being Floyd Mayweather.

They are both seen as wasting most of there prime years sitting on the sideline. Is this actually a good strategy to preserve your body? Many see this as a ducking tool to let the stiff competition fight it out, kinda like Leonard was stated to have ducked Pryor. And Mayweather was stated to duck Undefeated Cotto and rising Margarito.

Do you think that boxers have the right to take long terms off the sport? Or do you think it has a agenda behind it?

Leonard had a detached retina which is why he took some time off. If floyd was in the 80's do you think he would have fought hearns, duran, hagler?

If he didn't fight either of those guys he wouldn't have a leg to stand on in the sport, which is why I always laugh at these ******ed comments.

Leonard missed prime years because of his eye.....and LOL at Floyd being in his prime at 32-34 years old. Floyd's last prime fight was Hatton.

My biggest beef as a Floyd fan was how he only fought once in 2010 and 2011.

It's best if he goes back on a two fights per year schedule or even a fight every eight months depending on how tough the fights are.

The way his career has panned out can possibly help him in the long run. He'll fight on longer, continue winning, and be ranked highly for his longevity.

if he fought in the 80s those would be the fights that'll make him a star win or lose idiots.
