You were never impressed with his skills, I was. Its as simple as that. You could also go after Maxey Rosenbloom for not being an all-time great. He lost plenty of fights. He is in the hall of fame for his skills, not his loses. Just as I believe Kosta will be enshrined one day, for skills, not loses.

I don't consider every HOF fighter, to be an all time great. I'm pretty sure Tszyu might make the HOF one day.

Maxey was definately an all-time great. Talk to any old school fighter and they will tell you. There are a few guys in the hall that I dont know much about, but I would never question their greatness. They must have been doing something right to be enshrined for eternity.

It's funny how none of your scenarios came true when they actually fought...Tszyu was beaten fair and square..face it.

alot of great fighters were KO'd or beaten in their primes, so i dont agree on that being a reason why zoo isnt great.... alot of times fighters become great after getting beatened...

But he never avenged his TKO lose, but most greats did.

                  I think this needs repeating:

Is Tszyu overrated in some aspects when looking at his career?

Of course. But that isn't to say he wasn't a great champion. As with most people, he has a few things against him but what he did in the division far outweighs the few negatives people can hold over his head. Anybody who thinks Tsyzu wasn't a great champion is a ******, however.

so why does that keep from being great?? its not his fault that phillips lost and fell to the bottom, while zoo was on top.... phillips wasnt even top ten when zoo was cleaning it out... its a no win arguement, cause if he fights and beats phillips, instead of fighting zab, mitchell, etc. then he'd be accused of ducking quality fighters to fight unworthy ones, like people accuse floyd and rj... at the time zoo and nard were the only to fighters to unify and clean out thier divisions, thats a refreshing change for the usualy boxing bullshyt...

is RJ not great for not avenging his KO lost to AT?? RJ was only one fight removed from winning the world heavyweight title when AT KO'd him.. does that keep from being great?

Anyone with any sense can see what a complete and utter moron Gunstar is.

What does he mention as a reason for Kostya not being an all-time great? One loss to Phillips.

That's right, genius. Ignore all the huge wins, the unification KO's, the dominant performances against the tough latino fighters that nobody else consistantly dominated like Kostya, the first guy to unify at 140 in decades, and make sure you focus on ONE LOSS. Brilliant!

LOL Dude, you are a tool. Kostya unified the titles. He got back the title he lost to Phillips. Why? Because Phillips lost it. If Phillips could have won his fights and kept his title, then Kostya would have had to go through him to unify. He didn't, so he didn't. He wasn't part of the championship picture, because Zab took his title that he lost to Millet.

So let me get this straight....

Kostya was supposed to abort the unifications and fight a guy that just lost his title to make Gunstar happy? LOL Dude, fighting losers is Floyd's job. Kostya went after the best fighters- the guys with the dominant wins, the guys with the legit titles. That's why he never rematched Phillips. Phillips lost and was out of the picture. How hard is that to understand?
