Tszyu is overrated???

I have never heard crap like it in my life. Since when does a figter like Tszyu get dogged so much for unifying a championship and knocking Judah out who was also undefeated at the time? Doesn't make a lot of sense now does it?
Just because Judah proved to be less than what he promised, how does that detract from Tszyu?
Tszyu went in there and did what he had to do emphatically in the biggest 140-pound fight in the world.
Tszyu was fighting the likes of former world champion Juan Laporte very early in his career and was one of the greatest amateur fighters of all time.
The writing was on the wall against Hatton though not many of us wanted to see it. Tszyu had fought maybe twice in three years and had not had to dig into that kind of rough fight for such a long time, plus being 35, all the signs were against Tszyu.
A list of other fighters Tszyu defeated:
Roger Mayweather
Miguel Angel Gonzalez
Ben Tackie
Sharmba Mitchell (twice)
Diobelys Hurtado

It was a bit of humor on my part
Sometimes to be great you must sacrifice, but hell, life is to short to truly care...life is best when enjoyed...starving "Artist(s)" leave great work, sacrifice for their "craft", but if you look at the way most end up, it wasn't such a great life...yes, they leave a great legacy that can go on for many years, if not ages, but how many are truly willing to sacrifice for such a way of thinking and doing.
You could always sacrifice until you are 30-32 years of age, then retire, fulfilling your potential...the downside is what the effect it leaves on you or what happens if you die before you get to enjoy life...one example of someone who gave all is Pete Sampras: that guy was a machine for about a decade...for such "Greatness", he had failed relationships, but kept on winning because Tennis came first...then he finally decides to "enjoy" himself in the later part of his career and he goes down like Tyson when he fought Douglas...but all is well now for him. In the same sport, Roger Federer seems to be able to balance everything to near perfection, but how many can do this, or maybe he just happens to be in the best situation: where he grew up, lives, sport, etc.Last edited by Abe Attell; 05-03-2006, 02:43 AM.Comment
