Yeah everybody wanted Mosley/Mayweather after Mosley called out Floyd following the Marquez win. By the time they FINALLY fought Mosley showed his age, not to mention the ring rust. No flip flop, just facts.

Floyd would probably stop Manny these days after that KO he suffered. With that said, Floyd is ALWAYS going to be one of the toughest match ups for Manny, it's unfortunate but true.

The Ghost will win though. He has the size, the youth, and he has more ways to fight than Manny does vs Floyd.

He's not much taller than Floyd if at all and Floyd has him on reach. Not to mention he won't be able to pull his dirty moves on Floyd like he did Berto. Berto is a b*tch and he took the dirty moves Guerrero dished out. If the ref isn't helping, help yourself. Guerrero did the right thing. He straddled the boundary and fought as dirty as the ref would allow. Floyd is going to push his elbow into Guerrero's throat. When Guerrero lunges inside Floyd is going to step back and lean on the back of his neck with the elbow. Also watch out for the right uppercuts floyd will land consistently inside.

I really want to see this fight because it's going to be fun to watch Guerrero get systematically picked apart in the pocket round after round, when he isn't over committing on the outside and getting right hands crashed into his face in a similar fashion to Ortiz.

Yeah they both made the 135 limit but Castillo weighed 147 and Floyd weighed 138 on fight night for both of their matches at light weight. Marquez has always been mad that Floyd didn't give him opportunities to let him be effective. Marquez was easy work after over a year being out of the ring and weight had nothing to do with it.

So why do many Floyd fans and Floyd himself say when Martinez called Floyd out, "Martinez should go up to fight Ward" instead of saying "I'm better than Martinez, weight will have nothing to do with it, I will fight Martinez"

It seems like for Floyd fans, Floyd can't say or do no wrong.

Well to be perfectly fair, Pac didn't agree to a 50-50 fight either. Let alone blood testing or less money.

Mosley had just fought a couple of times that year (2006) and said I will be ready but had a planned vacation with his family. You know, like Floyd did over and over again but Floyd didn't just take a month or two off, it was more like years.

Mosley called up Floyd but Floyd said no. Mosley called out Floyd all of 2007 and said "Floyd is growing some feathers". Floyd still said no.

Mosley called out Floyd BEFORE Marquez, Floyd chose Marquez instead of a ready and willing WW named Mosley.

What other context can this be taken?

He did exactly what you said people wanted and fought him, straight after "Mosley got in the ring and called him out"

And as soon as the Berto fight was cancelled, EVERYONE was calling for Mayweather-Mosley.
