It is obvious that those who don't want this fight are the quarter-wits who wallow in their preference for Mayweather over Pacquiao. This made them violently anti-Pacquiao. Following on this, they are not strong enough mentally to isolate their anti-Pacquaio-ism, and it spills over to everything to do with Pacquiao, no matter whom he fights.

Since Pacquiao was beginning to beat up a fading Marquez badly, and, had the KO not happened, would have been ahead by at least 3 points and going strongly, so these cretins have just enough sense to be afraid that if and when the fight does occur, Pacquiao might continue his trend and just batter Marquez.

Sooo..... they are "against" the fight. They care nothing for Marquez himself, or else they'd be happy that he will make the largest purse by far of his whole career.

Just think of it.....these micro-brains are legally able to accept government assistance, procreate, and slobber over their bibs. Some of them can even write their names.......

    Astonishing !!

Arum, you have a rep all right. A rep as a corrupt a$$hole.

      Somebody, MAKE IT STOP!
While the fights between the 2 remain sold-out, they won't stop fighting! But there's no reason to continue watching their fights if JMM will win again in a very convincing manner, just like JMM had demolished Pac on their last outing.

JMM has out boxed Manny 3 times already, what makes you think that if the KO didn't happen Marquez wouldn't have outboxed him again to a victory? Sure Manny look good early on but it takes 12 rounds to get a victory unless a KO occurs ala how the fight ended. Manny can't out box JMM period, the only thing Manny has better than Marquez is speed, thats it. Power? don't give me that shlt.

It doesn't have to stop anywhere. They are in the money making business, providing the kind of "entertainment" that a certain portion of the population likes. So as long as there is enough money brought in to make it worth doing, they-or any other pair-would fight.

The first Gatti-Ward fight was a "blood-and thunder' episode. it pleased the mobs so much that there was a huge demand for a second fight for which they were each paid a million dollars. The first fight earned them peanuts by comparison. Then, going with the momentum, the promoters proposed a third fight. Both second and third fights were disppointing for those expecting the all-out war of the first fight. After that they weren't worth a damn. Ward must have increased his total purses by about 10 times and retired happy.

If Marquez is smart, he tells them to live with the loss and rides off into the Mexican sunset as an ATG with an ATG knockout of his arch rival. If anything, take Danny Garcia out for his titles and call it a career.
I like the Marquez vs Garcia idea and even Marquez vs Khan would pay good. I think after Garcia beats Zab he has enough luster to make a PPV debut against Marquez and that could turn Danny into a household name. But if Marquez really is with TR it will never happen.

If boxing fans will pay for it, it's NOT pointless. You still don't seem to have understood what boxing is all about. A certain type of people like to see two men bashing hell out of one another, the more blood and bone breakage, the better they like it, and will pay big money to see it. There's a name for people like that, and they are a sizeable proportion of boxing fans. The majority, I hope like myself, just likes to see the variety of skills displayed.

All-in wrestling brought in people because they didn't know that it was all practiced to make it look especially brutal. They didn't have sense enough to know that a human body can't withstand that amount of real punishent.

Even after it became common knowledge that it was faked, they still flocked in to get a kind of vicarious thrill from their imaginations.

Since your irrelevant post is giving your mind exercise-sort-of- maybe it's doing some good.......

At the same time, I think there is much merit in your comment about steroids.

It the fight happens I'll watch it, of course. But the ball is entirely on Marquez's court. He will choose between money and self-preservation. He'll surely get paid handsomely if he takes it.

That was just pure hatred right and nothing you said had any merit or truth to it. You went off on a tirade simply because your a fanboy and can't deal with the fact your crush got KTFO. It's also insulting for you to infer that JMM doesn't have fans of his own and only Mayweather fans are speaking out..
Most of JMM fans would love to see him Knock that fraud Pacquiao out again after getting robbed 3 times in the past already. JMM don't have nothing to prove anymore he already proved he is Pacs daddy.
50/50 will probably get the fight done though.
Just can't get over how disrespectful some of you pac fans are.
The nerve some of you have implying JMM is on roids. Saying he cheated with foot stomps and every excuse under the sun.
Have some damn dignity and while you're at it cut out that racist talk.

I don't concede that Pacquiao was "outboxed" 3 times, I'd say that Marquez boxed cleverly enough to avoid being KO'd (as it looked that he might have been) and made each a very close fight. They both boxed well, but, because Pacquiao was expected to KO Marquez, Marquez got more credit for making a close fight.

Anyway, my post was not about who outboxed whom, it was strictly about the concept of "supply and demand" in boxing, about those who will put on a strenuous fight, and those who will flock to pay for it.

They can fight as many as BOB ARUM wants. The only reason "CAN'T" is if somebody is retired or dead!!!

And I'll bet 75% of the real fans will watch it over and over again!
