It's these polls that display to the whole world the ******ity of the average boxing fan.

Mayweather is among, perhaps the, greatest boxers the world has ever seen and will be for some time.

Duran is famous really for quitting a major fight.

Duran is an ATG for sure but he is not worth one drop of piss in the desert compared to Mayweather.

    NOT ONE SINGLE DROP!

    Joke thread really.

I completely agree, Duran won a paper title at middleweight, quit like a ***** against the limited Leonard and got his arse handed to him by the chinny Hearns. It was a ridiculously over hyped run of fights in the 80s.

Mayweather on the other hand has beaten such ATGs as Baldomir, Judah and Gatti. No argument there!

Don't forget that he lost twice to Vinny Pazienza, a bunch of no-names and lost like 16 times. Of course Mayweather is better.

Who cares that he cleared out the lightweight division in the 1970s, fighting 4-6 times a year (beating HOF fighters) and then went up to welterweight and middleweight.

Say what you want about Floyd but he has never quit and said no mas because the other guy was winning.

                Sarcasm?

Don't even TRY to sound clever here, you have exposed yourself as a complete fool..

                Think about it like this..

If Mayweather was exposed to Duran's resume how would he have done? Dominated completely. Only questionable fight would have been LEonard, not because Leonard is better, he isn't, but because Leonard was naturally bigger! Even though Floyd's quality of weight was much better somewhat making up for that anyway.

But hey, let's on the other hand suppose Duran, had to face Floyd's opposition instead...

OOPS! Duran gets pasted and flogged and made to quit likely on multiple occasions!

It's one thing to speculate B level boxers like Duran could beat CURRENT Mayweather but "overall" it's actually disrespectful. VERY disrespectful.

And I must reiterate that it is EXACTLY these attitudes that create the stigma amongst sports fans that boxers and there fans are "archaic" and "slightly ******ed".

"All the best boxers are ****"

"All the ****test boxers are best"

This mentaility is harmful to boxing!

How is Duran smaller? Duran probably weighed 155-158 in his WW fights. It's not even close, Duran was bigger and it shouldn't even be a debate and no serious boxing fan should bring up such a joke of a comment.

Duran is a legitimate top 10 ATG fighter. A legend among legends. With that being said Floyd would beat any version of Duran that ever fought. How about comparing them when....IDK......Floyd actually finishes his career?
