Mayweather could only be greater or near duran in terms of greatness if he adds pacquiao to his resume. Imagine what a limited maidana style did to mayweather last may, duran has brought that style to perfection and even more ferocity at his best. Best version of duran beats the best version of floyd just per style basis. Floyd's condition has always been constant though, we should give him that.

The best version of Duran lost to kirkland laing, esteban dejesus, and quit against SRL.

The best version of floyd had a close fight with Castillo, his 1st fight at the weight. Is Duran better than castillo-no question.

Is floyd better than laing and dejesus? No question. Is prime floyd as good a boxer as that SRL? Many feel he is.

Duran is one of the greatest who ever lived. But right handed boxers with longer reach gave him his most difficult fights, including his 3 prime losses.

Floyd mayweather-right handed boxer with a 5 inch reach advantage over roberto.

Would be a great fight and not an easy win for either fighter.

Duran started at bantamweight, Floyd started 3 divisions bigger at junior lightweight.

Floyd is taller with a much longer reach than Duran.

Floyd looked drained at the weigh-in yesterday, he's having trouble making 147 now.

Floyd grew into a big welterweight, he couldn't even make the catch-weight when he fought the much smaller JM Marquez. Floyd refused to fight Ricky Hatton at 140 or at a catchweight between 140 and 147.

Floyds recent oppoents have said Floyd is overated. Maidana said Floyd isn't all that, and Cotto said Pac would beat Floyd easily.
