Kotelnik is a well-schooled, amateur-pedigreed, eastern-European styled boxer. Good fighter, but nothing special. He basically schooled Alexander in the ring. Alexander has done nothing since then to show how he's improved enough to be mentioned among the elites.
Forget about triangle theories, I'm talking straight boxing skills. Floyd has the same fundamentals as Kotelnik, but is vastly superior at using them. Floyd may talk trash before and after fights, but he is 100% business between the ropes. Alexander is not as quick or creative as Judah. And he is not as powerful or aggressive as Ortiz.
Devon is target practice for Floyd.

      100% correct^^^^

Floyd can launch that straight right 3 times in a row and the last one lands as sharp as the first.

      Devon has no answer.

Alexander is NOT world class, lets be real here. floyd knows he's on the way down and is just looking for an easy fight. Devon Alexander's real record: 22-3.....nuff said

Being that Alexander has looked good in only 1 of his last fights (vs Maidana), if he wants to test his skills againt Mayweather maybe he can serve as his sparring partner for his next fight.

Alexander would give Mayweather a better fight than Guerrero, JMO, but the better fight style wise would be with Guerrero.

Canelo at 154 would be better, challenge wise.

Yeah I'm pretty much echoing what's already been said elsewhere, but this ish on PPV is a travesty. Well I guess if Canelo is gonna take Trout or something on the under then that'll improve it, but f**k. I'm sure I'll still get it, though.

This better be a smoke screen or a misdirection play here by Floyd. Hell even a noticeably slowing/aging Floyd will box circles around Devon. Devon would give it his best early but after realizing he has zero chance, I could see him just running/surviving and losing by grand canyon WIDE UD and then getting that check. Hell it's a win win for Devon as he could look back on his career and say that he was at least good enough to get a fight with Floyd, he gets a fat check and nobody is going to give a shyt if he gets demolished.

Without a Canelo undercard this is a HBO After Dark bout.
