Guerrero doesn't think he can win, or else he'd take the money and beat Mayweather.
Once the spotlight is on him he'll make some fans, he has a good story and cool personality to draw people in. Ortiz wasn't very known, but once the fight with Mayweather got signed and the 24-7 cameras started rolling he got a lot of exposure. Reason the fight sold so well.

So Guerrero should just accept 500k then using your logic? C'mon bro, you sound childish as hell. Boxing is a business too, like I said, your claim that Guerrero doesn't want to win is completely baseless and has no merit.

i mean, seriously. piss off, Robert.

yet more reason why he should accept the money. he only stands to gain. but, as of now, he's a relative nobody.

who's offering Guerrero 500k? the rumoured offer that we're discussing here is 2.5 million dollars. he's less than half the attraction Cotto was, so it makes sense that he should net less than half the money Cotto did. as it is, 2.5 million is a tidy purse.

this just in, Robert Guerrero is selling a used rectum for 4 million. any takers?

You know, maybe Robert "can't afford to" take less than $4m, "absolutely not". I mean, he's given the sport his "whole life".

I'm sure Money Mayweather would understand.

That's ridiculous. Against Floyd Mayweather in a big PPV fight, it's a reasonable amount to ask. 2.5 million (assuming that is the real offer) is a major low ball/slap in the face offer, I personally thought Ortiz was an idiot for taking that offer. I also think Guerrero is gonna talk a lot of trash talk in this fight, and him being Chicano is a definite plus fighting on Cinco De Mayo.
Who cares if it is a big PPV fight? Wallmart earn billions every year yet they pay their employees minimum wage, if they don't like their salary they have the option of fucking off. Now in Guerrero's situation turning down 2.5 million would be ****** as he's not going to make that kind of money any where else, he's also not likely to get the kind of exposure he'd get fighting Floyd anywhere else either.

Guerrero has had his hand out in Mayweather's direction for two years, and now he isn't biting Mayweather's hand off? he can go to hell.
            Same wavelength.

He can join Hatton in a hotel room for a cheeky line of coke.
