Either way-you said Floyd wouldn't fight Canelo, he did.
In such a short statement made by you, I see several mistakes that you made.

Canelo and Floyd both had a title at 154. So if the weight limit was 154 then I can only blame Canelo not Floyd. BUT strangely, even though they BOTH had a title, Floyd demanded a CW of 152. So that has nothing to do with being a professional athlete. It has to do with Floyd trying to take away Canelo's advantage.

Floyd actually agreed to a contracted CW of 144 with Marquez and then came in at 146. That is unprofessional but since he is your hero, that's OK ......

First of all, people who commented the way they did, didn't know about the CW demands. If you look at how people responded when they knew about it, you would realize that the comments were different than what was stated here.

Secondly, I said BEFORE, DURING and AFTER that that version of Canelo was NOT ready to fight someone like Floyd. Also wasn't sure if he ever would be due to him being relatively flat footed fighter. It showed in the Floyd and Lara fight that Canelo struggles with movement.

Canelo signed for the fight at 152. He didn't have to.

You know what happened in the JMM fight. Yes, it was unprofessional for Floyd to not make weight.

      No, they weren't.

you said Floyd wouldn't fight him-he did.

      • I BET you..............

I BET you Floyd won't fight him again without a catch-weight. Ask Lara if Canelo is capable of making adjustments or not.

Canelo was going by experience. Floyd could have moved on to someone else if Canelo said no. Same reason why Maidana said yes to the gloves fiasco and so on. Funny that when someone stands up to Floyd and says no, you Floyd fans still crap on him (eg, Manny) and complain "why did Manny say no if he really wanted the fight?".

and no, I didn't say that Floyd wouldn't fight Canelo. I just laughed at the talk about CWs and Floyd will not fight Canelo because he is too big at 154 ..... too funny. Why I did say is that Canelo has not proven that he is ready for Floyd. I was right.

Floyd will not have that advantage and Canelo will have zero respect for Floyd's power. Right now Canelo walks Floyd down and KO's him in 8....

I picked Cotto to beat Alvarez before this fight too, but I'm reversing that call. Alvarez stops him, he's much better than I thought he was.

The same Trout that had some physical advantages over Canelo (taller, naturally bigger frame than ginger)
What advantages would a 36-37 year old Floyd have over this Canelo? Outside of a sucker punch, Floyd hasn't KO'd anybody since an ovveratted Hatton. You think Canelo is going fight Floyd the same way as Trout, a guy that had decent power and length. The Canelo that came in the ring tonight would KO Floyd at this point in his career.
              Just a few......

              • All it had to take was for Canelo to be drained at a catchweight of 152.

All it had to to take was for Maidana to wear Pillows/ Floyds Ring size/ Floyds favorite ref.

Mayweather hasn't fought Pacquiao, and people are blaming Manny?

What a warrior this Coward is, lmao

                • I don't see why people tought Floyd would duck Canelo. Floyd offered him the fight in 09, back when Canelo was still at WW.
