Yeah, and Wlad landed 29 power punches against Haye in 12 rounds.

He landed more than double that amount against Pianetta in half the time.

More importantly, none of Pianetta's 'power' shots had any actual power, they were lunging swings that were grazing at best.

    • Even against nobodies, I love the atmosphere at Wlad fights. Puts boxing in the U.S. to shame.

          • So, if Wlad beats Povetkin, will he be a top 5-10 HW ATG?

An impressive win against Povetkin will be a very, very good win/name on his resume in the grand scheme of things.

Of course people will just say Povetkin was bad, not Wlad was just THAT good.

              • ^ That wouldn't be saying much, since this is probably one of, if not THE WORST eras in heavyweight history. The fact that a cancer survivor got a chance at the world title is proof of it.

Hes already a top 10 HW ATG! I think even his biggest critics would seriously struggle to name 10 above Wlad.

                  • With Wlad it's not about names it's about longevity.

How does a win over Povetkin propel you up the ATG rankings? Povetkin may be the 3rd best heavyweight but he's far from HOF quality.

Beating Povetkin is good because it's one more name to scratch off the list on the "clearing out the division" mission.

                    • Freedom and Weirschurz (Whatever his name is) will be calling this "More proof of Wlad's dominance over the HW division". I called it.
