No announcement yet.
Instead of hating who Floyd "wants" to fight, take it to the source.

Guerrero is a cherrypick, Devon doesn't deserve it, Marquez was in the "best shape of his life" against Pacquiao and "Pacquiao fought the better version", but a May-Marquez rematch is out of the question, Pacquiao just got KTFO and fights with Soto and Rios are looking like super fights for him at this point of his career, so who's left?
The only fighters left out there for Floyd to get credit are at 154-160. Canelo, Trout, Martinez. Again, high ass standards.
Soto, Rios, Marquez[Lightweights and JWW's at 147].
Canelo, Trout, Martinez[The best fighter 1-2 weight classes above him].
Floyd "High Standard" Mayweather.

i just dont get boxing fans who stick up for certain guys who take the easier fights because they get more money, surely as a boxing fan, you would want to see the best fights!
of course I want to see the best fights. as for sticking up for boxers, if thats what you think fine. Im simply saying what other 35/36 yr old boxer has taken challenge over money? None of them have, so why now is it such a problem?
now as to your other post-you are essentially saying other than manny there is no ww floyd can fight. ok. so that goes back to my point about "competitive" or "good".

Basically he can only fight at 154 for people to be happy with his opponent choice. Sadly for that crowd hes not big enough to exclusively campaign at 154 hes just not.
Theres a reason his next fight is a WW. Hes a legit WW. He usually takes a fight at 154 if its for Big money. Cotto and Oscar. The only guy close to that level is Alvarez which is why we see rumors of them fighting.
If people think hes going to line up 3-4 back to back 154 Pound fights you are going disappointed. Like I mentioned hes not big enough to take that kind of pounding. Just like Pacquiao.
Lara and Trout all things equal aren't anywhere near Floyds level in talent or boxing ability. They're only considered threats because Floyd is past prime and 36 years old now. In his prime hed be laughed at for taking a Lara or Trout fight.
Im fine with Guerrero, Bradley, Marquez, Matthysse and Garcia.
