This fight is an absolute joke. A lame, pathetic excuse of a fight. Unless Floyd attacks Devon without mercy and lets loose a barrage of combinations until Devon quits, there is no promise of this being a good fight at all. And we know that Floyd only fights as hard has his opponents do. Which is why at the very least Guerrero could have been a good fight. Despite that Guerrero wouldn't have much of a chance at winning, at least he'd attack and force Floyd to throw. Alexander won't do that. He'll grab and throw pitty patty smacks whilst screaming "HUH HAH HUH!!!" Who the fuck wants to see that??!! How can you possibly get excited about this fight at all?

There is no justifying this fight. I don't care what anyone says. If you're a Floyd fan who doesn't want this fight at all, identify yourself. Curious to see who'll respond.
None because they know it's a Gotta protect that Zero fight

I just logged on today and have just been catching up on the story. It pains me to admit it, but I was starting to feel ok ish about RG, but only because I like the guy and the way he fights and had no problem with someone like him getting a break...he would also bust his arse trying to win. This is just horrific, I feel so sorry for Kell Brook in all of this.

        They always do.

What I'm curious about is HOW they'll do it. Of course they'll try to spin something into making Devon look plausible. Remember how Cotto was suddenly "undefeated" and "second primed, fresh new Cotto" when he fought Floyd?

Whatever it is, it'll be good entertainment.

Big floyd fan here, this fight is a joke. The guerrero fight was bad enough but this is just wtf. Alexander has no shot this is the definition of a cherrypick.

You can add me to this list. Been a Floyd fan for a long time now, have bought his fights for nearly the last 10 years, but this is pathetic. As this fight stands right now I would not purchase it. Even with a stacked undercard I might not purchase it just out of principle. And it would have to be STACKED just for me to consider it.

If he needs a tune up fight I don't fault him. He's in his mid 30's and coming off a year absence. It would be understandable but you have to be up front about it. Not sell some crap opponent like Alexander as if it's worthy of the the #1 P4P fighter in the world.

It's really too bad for boxing and it's fans. 2012 was a great, resurgent year for the sport, and that was without Floyd. He CAN add so much more to the sport but if this is the crap he is going to pull I say who needs him?

I don't like this fight for the entertainment value, but it is a legit opponent. Alexander always makes fights turn into a stinker, and Floyd isn't great at turning a stinker into a barn burner. Fights that are good Mayweather events are the ones where the opponent keeps coming at him and mayweather counters and uses his defensive tools to nullify their offense. Baldomir/Delahoya/hatton/ these were some of my favourite Floyd fights Idn't see how Alexander can live up to these.

Terrible fight. I will not support it in any way, shape, or for if it gets made. Massively disappointing.

It just doesn't make sense from any perspective.
