I'm not sure I believe it. There's just no way. It doesn't make ANY sense, unless Guerrero was truly unwilling to accept the money Golden Boy was putting up...in any case, what's another mil for Mayweather? I wasn't thrilled about Guerrero but I'm on record as saying he at the very least makes a case for that fight, and also, he can sell the fight cause he talks and he'll make things interesting. Devon's natural weight class is 147, that's where his first 11 fight's took place. He only dropped down to 140 to fight for the title. Alexander was draining himself to get down to 140 those last couple fight's. Now that Alexander is back in his natural weight class he has the energy to fight every minute of every round because he's not depleting himself to make 140 anymore. That's what makes him a better fighter at 147, it's his natural weight class.
