Can't stand Max Kellerman. Wish they would kept Merchant just for the post fight interviews and wrap up.Comment

That's a really good point you bring up, and honestly it disgusts me when they do that (which is very often). It's like they think they're superior to the fighters and they should be beyond honored to even get a single word in. Sometimes fighters aren't even allowed to give a few shout outs to family members and/or close friends, they're immediately cut off in a very disrespectful manner. These guys are giving blood, sweat and tears for this sport and win fights that mean a lot to them and they get treated like crap by these schmucks who have never laced a pair of gloves up. Makes me sick.I hate the general tone of disrespect towards fighters in post-fight interviews. These HBO guys make their living off the hard work fighters put in, so the very least they could do is reflect that fact in how they talk about them. Kellerman's dismissive attitude towards Salido and Rosado was unbelievable.
Unfortunately, most fighters are desperate for a slot on HBO so there's little enough they can do or say about it.Last edited by _original_; 02-05-2013, 10:33 AM.Comment

They always seem to pick a fighter in round 1, and no matter what the other fighter does, they will ride with their favored fighter till the last bell. It's disgusting. I don't know when they developed in to this, but it really showed in the Williams-Lara fight and Pacquiao-Bradley fight. If they choose to bash you, literally no punch that you land will be replayed and they will not compliment anything you do.Comment

They're fallible human beings like the rest of us. All things considered I think they do a pretty decent job.Comment

I love him as a fighter, but probably Roy. He can spend a minute talking and when he his done have said absolutely nothing intuitive. He reminds me of John Madden sort of.Comment
