donaire has been making like 1 million a fight and now he gets offered 3 million to fight the best guy at 122. A career high payday triple anything hes ever made and the chance to unify and prove hes the best and ****ing Arum wont do it because its GBP.

The Arce fight was a complete farce there was no reason to make that fight.

If and when (a big "if") Arum made the original ( amount never revealed) offer, why didn't SCHAEFER make a "counter offer???

He did. Schaefer and Mares' manager said that Arum was lowballing Abner.

So that's when Schaefer came up with this offer/contract in response.

hmmm... so now its media negotiations? then on the contract that if they cancel the fight, GBP will not pay TR/Donaire???

I thought Mares will move to featherweight? looks like GBP already know that Donaire-Rigo is already set and will be announce tomorrow or in few days... this is good move from GBP making Mares name in the circle even they know this is not possible at the moment. I just hope that offer still available after the Donaire-Rigo fight.
