Arum wants one thing, Schaefer wants another, both dont want to compromise on that key issue so sending a counter offer is useless

obviously you haven't been paying attention to scumbag bob's actions for last the 30 years because if you did you wouldn't be making an excuse for this clown. golden boy's no saint but if they weren't willing to compromise why make the offer in the first place and then on top of that send a contract? all scumbag bob had to do was say no. it would've look bad, but most fans think he's a cretin anyway or send a counter proposal. as far as what network it's on i'm sure that's not a deal breaker, because it didn't come up until top ranks third excuse.

Donaire is the only fighter HBO has allowed on the network 4 times in a year as far as I'm aware. At least in recent years. One of the main reasons he won FOTY was because of his activity. Donaire would not have gotten the award had he only fought twice that year, which is very likely without HBO giving him the extra 2 dates. So yes, HBO deserves a ton of credit.

Arum is a damn joke. He has no problem in shipping Pacquaio to Showtime who is definitely a much bigger fighter but turns down this proposal from GBP on the basis of loyalty.

Anyone complaining about Arum didnt even bother reading that contract..GBP plans to steal a kings ransom while paying a guy $1.5 million for his troubles..the line that states "NO SPONSORS, NO BANNERS" in this day and age is a no go for a champion or even a star in boxing..most of their earnings come from those sponsors in and out of the ring..imagine someone telling Lebron he can't wear his custom designed line of Jordan sneakers for games...he and jordan wouldn't be happy..so don't fault arum or donaire on this one.
