I'll watch it again for the twentieth time. I remember it being a close fight and very tough for Mike, but I don't remember Douglas dominating the fight.

This isn't really one punch in one fight, but I'm going with Carlos Zarate's left uppercut to the body. Best single punch in an all around puncher's arsenal.
they interviwed liston after the fight and he said the punch wasnt hard. he said dat it got him off balance and he wanted to get up but Ali wasnt goin to his corner so he was waiting for it. liston shudnt have lost that fight, the referee must count to the fighter so he knows when to get up, Walcott didnt even count.
Nobody talks much about the single left hook Roy Jones flattened Thomas Tate with....
Tate went 12 hard rds., & ate big shots, against the massive hitting Julian Jackson.
Tate also survived big time shots from good hitters like Tyrone Trice, Joseph Kiuwanuka, Merqui Sosa, etc..
But, Jones took him out with a single whip-ass left hook.
You cannot expect anyone to believe you have actually watched Tyson-Douglas if you think it was in any way a close fight.
Tyson was shut down & out throughout that whole fight, with the exception of the single uppercut he took in the EIGHTH (not the ninth, as you said- further showing your recollection is clouded) round.
A total schooling & ass-beating was administered to Tyson that evening.
Even the strongest-tongued of the Tyson taint-lickers will admit Tyson was beaten silly that night. Sure, they'll give you a thousand excuses as to why he was whipped, but won't deny the whipping.
I agree with the guy earlier - the liver shot that Hopkins threw to knock ODLH out. Lots of people say DLH took a dive, but i can't agree - i got kicked there in Muay Thai once and it took me out completely. It hurts like a ***** and you sorta freeze up. When i watched the fight, i saw that punch, and before DLH reacted i knew it was a KD. Then he folded over with that grimace on his face.
I have seen thousands of KO's over 25 years of watching boxing intensely....
....& I totally believe Oscar DeLaHoya faked his pain on that punch.
It did not look like it hit the liver, & even when you see a clean liver shot KO....the fist sinks into the body far more than that ARM-PUNCH did.
I have seen numerous guys take left hooks into the liver....shots that shifted their entire rib cage over.....& NONE have ever rolled around in such distress as Oscar was putting out that evening. That punch BOUNCED off of Oscar's side.
